Statement of Purpose and Objectives
The main purpose of this Edwardian Million-dollar Endowment movement is to sustainably fund a comprehensive plan to making our Alma Mater, St Edward’s, a world class secondary school again. We would do this through long-term infrastructural, faculty and administrative development.
We must ensure students at St. Edward’s have a safe, clean and effective learning environment that meets the highest standards of our time. Physical Infrastructure
Edwardians, we must be good shepherds of our school grounds. Our campus location and facility “May Park” is part of our identity and that which makes us special. We must renovate, revitalize, and upgrade our facilities. We must rebuild our school buildings and rehabilitate all our athletic fields.
Just as the immediate family sets the pace for the development of children, the next biggest impact is offered by the school. May Park provided us that experience. School environments are crucial to the overall social appearances, skills, and personality of the young.
Student outcomes are influenced by safe learning environments. And a safe environment the like of what we had; we shall provide at our Alma Mater!
Faculty Development
Our second goal is to attract and help maintain the best available faculty through effective employment incentive programs, on-going teacher training and other employee benefits. We will make our teachers proud to be teachers at Saint Edward’s.
Administrative and Operational Standards
Thirdly, we will improve procedures and protocols for effective implementation of policies and directives in running an effective Modern-Day world class school. Yes, “A School of Excellence!”
