About
Inspired by our sisters from St' Joseph's Convent and piloted by Felix Sandy (Our founder & First President), 12 Alumni of St' Edward's secondary school in the summer of 2004 met at the house of Mr. Eustace Jones (our 1st Vice President) to start this our modern-day thriving Metro DC Chapter. Those 12 Inaugurating Members were : Felix Sandy, Eustace Jones, Maurice Jagne-Shaw, Carlton Robinson, Arnold Robinson, Sadruddin Bangurah, Marcus Robinson, Derck Cole, George Brown, Sahr John Pundeh, Thomas Vandy & Abu Iscandri. The Edwardian Family say a Big Thank You to these pioneers! Thanks you for the initiative and for the gift of this renowned Alumni Chapter!

Mission
Fellow Edwardians, friends, and visitors: On behalf of the entire alumni of our great institution, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our virtual home. Our association exists, wholly and solely, to help our school and our alumni members. I know that life gets busy, but I hope you will engage with us to improve our alma mater by working together to find academic, administrative, and infrastructural solutions for our school. Our founders saw a problem in our nation, and they invested and built a campus they called MayPark. Today, we celebrate the strength of the alumni network that has emerged from that investment. The task that has been handed down to us is a noble one; to carve a path that opens doors of opportunity for our students and promotes the course of progress. Our responsibility is to help current and prospective Edwardians excel in academics, sports and more, building a sustainable bridge for the future of our school. At a time when our discourse has been so sharply polarized, let us strive for educational excellence at our school. Collectively, we can make an indelible difference to our alma mater. Let us summon a new spirit. A spirit that elevates the discourse of our school amongst us. So, I call on all Edwardians and friends of St. Edwards who have not yet made their commitment to this cause to join us in elevating the standards of our school to ensure that we are once again the foundation upon which our nation continues to build. I look forward to working with alumni of all stripes to renew the promise of our founding fathers. Thank you for all your support. May God bless you.
